Choosing from a hundred photos that I took of Gabriel this day was the second hardest thing I ever had to do. First thing was giving birth obviously. I have been meaning to do this post for so long now and I can’t believe I waited ten months. Before Gabriel was born, I vowed that I would do a blog post baby update every month. For obvious reasons, it never happened. Anyway, better late than never so here’s my little update of him at 10 months while it’s still fresh on my mind.
He weighs 20 lbs and is on track. He has four teeth top and four bottom. He has so much hair and the bald spot in the back of his head grew in finally. His eczema has gotten so much better thanks to some great recommendations by you guys! We also had some cream medications prescribed to help with itching. He wears 12 month old outfits.
Hobbies and Loves
Crawling. Emptying out baskets and the dryer. Climbing the stairs and getting into all my things. He loves to play with everything but his own toys. Nursing. Naps for a few hours three times a day. Baths and splashing water around. He loves attention and loves interacting with people. when someone says “Amen”, he will respond by lifting his hands up in the air. Say “Bless” and he will drop his head on your hand(a filipino thing), Say “Love Mommy” and he will lay his head on your shoulder. He makes grunting noises and likes to babble loudly.
All fruits. He doesn’t discriminate. He also loves peanut butter, cheerios, rice fish, cheese, popcorn and smoothies. I would say smoothies out of everything. As soon as he hears me with the blender and sees me with a straw, he goes nuts.
Lastly, I wanted to share his outfit for this shoot to save the best for last! I stumbled across Little & Lively on Instagram and I just died when I saw the designs for baby clothes. Other than the fact that their apparel is ridiculously cute, the fit is perfect! I find it hard to get ahold of pants that fit Gabes perfectly. Most are too short and if I size up, they’re too big around the waist. This one was perfect! The pieces are most definitely high quality garments and made with the softest material! I am also dying over the new Spring and Summer collection. It was inspired by art and music and influenced by the great outdoors and bohemian/festival vibes! I’m talking feathers, mermaids, fringes and a carnival of colours! Best part is that Little & Lively is designed and manufactured in BC!
