For those of you guys who don’t already know all the hype about the Dock A Tot, you’re missing out. It’s basically a docking system for your child. Odd to me at first as it looked like a floating device for the pool or something. Their purpose is so that the baby feels like they’re in a womb, snug and secure. It was designed in Sweden and multi-functional lounging, resting, sleeping, cosleeping, playing. Wishing I knew about it sooner. Probably would have saved us the first month we took him home. Now, there’s two sizes for small babies and older babies into toddlerhood. We decided on the Grande as I feel that we would get more use out of it as he grows.
We take it everywhere as it’s very portable. We bring it to grandma’s place and our place it’s easy to bring up and down the stairs. It’s great for playtime and tummy time. The covers are also interchangeable. They come in so many cute prints which you can also purchase on their site. Here’s my other favourite print!
It’s also great for play time and just hanging out. He’ll often spend part of his morning in this while I eat breakfast and read him a story. The sides are firm enough that this can also be used during tummy time; just place baby over the bumper.
It is proven free from harmful substances so mommy and baby are happy. It’s lightweight and portable. The covers are interchangeable and machine washable. They come in so many cute prints! As pictured here, this is perfect to place him in a crib so that he can transition from our room to his.
This one was taken at our trip to Banff overnight at a hotel. He slept like a baby!
