This summer has been unforgettable and one for the books! With summer ending pretty quickly for us, I wanted to plan one last mini getaway. We travelled to the Prairie Gardens for the Sweet Sweet Corn Festival for the Labour Day weekend! The location is a small-scale farm with agri-tourism fun. The festival celebrates sweet corn on the farm with our very own fresh Alberta corn on the cob, steamed the old fashioned way. They had everything from puppet shows, train rides, folk music, farmers market, petting farm and so much more!
We drove to the farm with The Ford Fusion and loved it so much! The Fusion is a great energy efficient road-trip car for an end of summer celebration. Aside from the design and comfort of the Fusion, my favourite feature would have to be the safety features. The lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise and blind spot information system. Sync 3 allows you to make voice activated hands-free calls to anyone. I am by no means an expert on vehicles so click here for more details on the Ford Fusion.
