1. I wanted to find a good Vitamin C for their antiaging properties and its smoothing effect! I turned to Kiehls as they never seem to disaapoint. I was recommended this Kiehls Powerful Strength Line Reducing Concentrate by one of the sales associates and I have to say no regrets! Plus it is 10.5% pure vitamin C! For those of you who may not know, it’s pretty hard to find a high absorbic acid for the price they offer. It has helped with my overall skin tone and texture. I have also noticed the difference in the size of my pores and helped with some scarring. The other bonus is that it doesn’t make me photo sensitive like Retinol products do. If you’re looking for a vitamin C product at a fair price, I would definetely recommend this!
The only con I can think of would be the texture. It’s thicker than I want it to be and I feel like I have to massage it into my skin. I would not recommend this during the day because of this. One way to prevent this from happening is to take the smallest amount and just pat this onto your skin. If youbguys have tried this, I’d love to hear your results!
2. ClarisoniC Mia -I’ve had this for awhile but I somehow rediscovered it. I bought the deep pore cleansing brush from Sephora and it’s a big difference from the normal brush. If you gave up on your clarisonic, try a different brush and see if the other ones work better for you. The one I’ve been using cleans deep and sloughs all the dead skin cells from using my Retin A. I use this only once a week as my skin is pretty sensitive.
3. Bioderma– I use this only for my lazy nights when I don’t feel like doing the two step cleansing that is part of my nightly rouitine. I can never sleep with all that junk on my face! Takes off all my makeup and I appreciate the fact that it doesn’t break me out! A+
