Here’s a school girl inspired outfit. I used to hate plaid as it reminds me of my uniformed school days, but style it a different way and I’ll probably get past it. Also, pair a skirt with something textured and you got yourself a bullet proof outfit. It’s been my go-to this season. I wish to stock up on every single print with this skirt. The prints and the material is amazing! Check out some other ones here. I have to thank Shailja from QLMD for this as I now have something to wear during this pregnancy!
For many years, the artist Shailja has created prints and patterns for some of the largest women’s wear brands across the globe such as H&M, Lindex, Indiska, Mango, Mexx, Promd etc. She is now branching out to Canada and the US and going direct to consumers through e-commerce platform. You can now enjoy her artwork through dresses, skirts, leggings, mobile cases and wall art! QLMD is born!
I don’t have or plan on purchasing a whole bunch of maternity items. I found that a maternity band works great with my regular jeans. Another easy trick I found during this pregnancy is putting on clothes a size bigger. QLMD is actually not a maternity line but got her skirt a size bigger. I’m able to hike it up higher where it sits comfortably on my belly and not be too short.
